As part of the 21st International Youth Day celebration, the United Nations Youth Association of the Philippines (UNYAP) invites you to its 1st International Youth Leaders Web Conference. With this year`s theme: Youth engagement for Global action, the first web conference will talk about protecting and mobilizing youth in COVID-19 responses, global partnership in implementing youth programs, and youth entrepreneurship during a pandemic.The conference happened on August 12, 2020, at 2:00 pm via Zoom and Facebook Live.

Held at the Philippine Normal University, Taft Avenue Manila

The Conference started with the Invocation from BLAAN tribe, followed by prayers from Earthsavers Dreamsensemble UNESCO Artist for peace and the singing of St. Francis make me a channel of your peace by the Philippine Normal University (PNU) Chorale and the singing of National Anthem.


The event was open by PNU Board of Regent Elisha Atayde.
The guest was welcome by PNU President Dr. Bert J. Tuga message read by Dean Ruth A. Alido, the Dean of College of Teacher Development.  Dr. Tuga came in and help in the awarding of plaque for guests.  The Message of UN Secretary General Antonio Guterrez was read by Ms. Albuminah Baby Lazo.  An intermission was followed by PNU Choir.


The words of wisdom from partner GO and NGO Followed Voice of the Youth Pocholo Gonzales have a message.  The message of National Commission of Indigenous people Chairperson Allen Capuyan was read by Ms. Jordine Rose Rodriguez Ocon.

The Commission on Human Rights Chairperson Hon Richard Palpal Latoc was represented by CHR Director of education Atty. Temprosa who delivered the message.


Hon. Oscar Casaysay, Executive Director of National Commission for Culture and Arts was delivered by Com'r. Alysha Limbona of the Philippine Commission on Women.


Chairperson of the Philippine Commission of Women Hon. Sandra Sanchez Montano delivered her message too.


Earthsavers Dreamsensemble UNESCO artist for peace performance followed and supported by the National Commission Culture and Arts.


The event key note was introduce by UNAP President Roderick C. Cruz.


Former Chairperson of the Commission on Human Rights and the current Chairperson of the National Amnesty Committee Hon. Atty. Leah Leda Sofia Tanodra Armamento Addressed the assembly.


The Youth Forum Followed…. Our world… Our Future with the theme of Green skills: Towards sustainable world. Panel of discussants were Ronnie John Barrientos, Elisha Atayde, Novey Dolde, CJ and Jessica Deboton. Question and answer followed.


Dr. Margarita Ballesteros of DepEd International Cooperation Office delivered a message basta bata bihasa. The Blaaan Tribe was sent by NCIP to perform as well.


UNAP President Roderick C. Cruz gave his closing remarks and thanked all UNAP partner organizations and participants for attending the event.


The event was supported by PNU, NCIP and NCCA.
